Childline Services
Shamayita Math has begun working as the collaborative organisation to promote the CHILDLINE service in the entire district of Bankura.
CHILDLINE 1098 is a National 24 hours toll free emergency phone outreach service for children in need of care and protection. It is a project of Ministry of Women and Child Development Government of India under the Integrated Child Protection Scheme. CHILDLINE in each District operates through a structured network of Community, District Administration, Police Department, Various Government Organizations, NGOs, Institutions and concerned individuals.
In Bankura District, CHILDLINE 1098 Service is already in operation and started their activities from the July month of 2014.
With a team of 9 members CHILDLINE Bankura has been working 24x7 for rescuing and restoring any child of Bankura District.

All this is being done with active cooperation of Child Welfare Committee and Juvenile Justice Board
Awareness is being done in district level, sub-division level, block level, panchayat level through meetings, group discussion, open houses, students walkathon, signature campaign, postering, etc.
